I still need to sort out the arm costume and tan elements (and animate her gripping hand properly), but otherwise it works well, and I think it's a lot more convenient than the current Mode option. Arm modding will definitely need an update after this too, but I'll get a working version of the main game out first.

ReplyDeleteSince I prefer things to be realistic could the size of the girl's hand also vary in some way. As of right now the girl's hand too small, it is about half the size of the guy's hand which is wrong. An guy's hand is about 3.5 inches while a girl's hand is about 3 inches. Basically I think the girl's hand should be about 3/4 or 4/5 the size of the guy's hand for the SDT. I have experience with Flash and this shouldn't be too hard. Kona wouldn't even need to code the second arm - just add it to the object that's the first arm, if that makes any sense (you've got an "object" - in this case, the left arm, and you simply add the other arm in there instead of making a whole new object).

Yeah, just a few minutes. Apart from you need to create and test a control in the interface for showing it (which is quite cluttered as it is), assign the same movement code to the new arm (the joints etc) and then find some way of getting one layer of the object above everything else in the stage while the other stays behind.

Interface issue: See the little arrows that allow you to choose between hand holding and hand not holding? Add a third option: both hands. There's no need to have more.
DeleteMovement code: either Kona just needs to copy/paste the code already used for the right arm (which, you know, is a thing with computers) or he could write some code that would mirror what the right arm is doing. There's no reason for them not to behave the same way.
Layers: you do realize we're talking about Flash? Right click on your new arm, Layer->Move to front.
Drawing: Copy/paste the new arm, and redraw the hand. I don't know what it actually looks like seeing there's always hair in the way but most likely the shape can be kept, he'd only need to redraw the "interior" of the shape.
Skin tones: depending on how he organized his code, that's not a problem. Again, copying/pasting what already exists for the right arm will take care of it.
Positioning: I rest my case. "It'd take probably [...] a few minutes to position it correctly"
I'm glad we can at least agree on the time it'll take.

What does the girl prefer?

Would it be possible to replicate this by having an option showing what she'd most likely do when the cumshot happens? This kind of thing would be most prevalent in Auto mode, naturally. ReplyDeleteI think auto mode should have a toggle option to randomly switch her mood and arm positions while it's turned on. I'd love to be able to not control her and still have these options in use.
